Hey there! My name is Kiruba. I have been in the soft serve ice cream business for nearly 30 years! I started out my soft serve ice cream truck operation in Ontario and moved my business to Calgary in 2009. Since then, I have expanded my fleet, ranging from 6 soft serve ice cream trucks (which carries sundaes, cones, shakes, icebergs, banana split/boat and soda floats)! In addition to the soft serve trucks, I have 5 popsicle trucks that carries a variety of popsicles, novelties, sandwiches and premium ice cream bars that most of them won't be able to find in your local convenience/grocery store!!! 

I take great pride in my business, especially with my soft serve ice cream, as it's a rich, creamy and heavily dense serving of vanilla and chocolate cream mixture. I refrain from adding any air into the cream, unlike some other franchises that practices this (for margins/profit), so when the soft serve comes out, it is at it's heaviest and creamiest, making it a truly exquisite and refreshing treat, targeting not exclusively for kids, but for adults and seniors abroad! In addition, my dairy formula is 100% authentic dairy cream mix, not the power mix blend that some other businesses use, maintaining the integrity and quality in my brand. 

One of my few keys to my longevity and able to handle this type of business is my resilience; my abilities to handle the nitty, gritty aspect of my operations. As a self made mechanic, my involvement with refrigeration, generators, compressor, engines and overall knowledge of equipment/electrical work, along with the safety components and regulations of guideline has helped harnessed and shaped me into this particular business endeavor. To be able to handle situation of that caliber, as well as increment weather on summer days, I am always grateful for what I do and take great pride to deliver the best quality of cold treats to my customers, no matter what event or location they are in.

At the end of the day, nothing is more humbling for me then to serve to cold treat to any customers, from a little one to a senior; to put a smile on their faces before I drive off into the sunset.
